Today you are presented with tools, that will allow you to control mess and chaos.
You can use them whenever you feel you need to declutter your mind and think more clearly.
Research shows that disorganization and clutter have a cumulative effect on our brains. Our brains like order and constant visual reminders of disorganization drain our cognitive resources, reducing our ability to focus. The visual distraction of clutter increases cognitive overload and can reduce our working memory. The key to building more mental muscle involves decluttering your mind of those mental habits that are keeping you stuck.

This exercise can be carried out in 3 steps:
Step 1: Write down anything that is currently on your mind. It can be things to do, decision to make, things you don’t want to forget, tasks to complete, goals to accomplish, returning thoughts, promises, worries etc.
Don’t over think this. What ever naturally comes up first, write it down. And keep writing until you can’t think of anything new.
Step 2 : Cross out everything that you want to remove, let go of, things that are not important or not necessary.
Step 3: Cluster and organize the remaining thoughts into headings.
Examples of headings: “Projects”, ” Worries”, “Personal Priorities”, “Business Priorities”, ” For later”
Step 4: Schedule Projects in a calendar
